Navigating Post-Secondary Options (with Grace and Good Humour)

on

Today’s young people face an overwhelming number of adult decisions that will ultimately affect their educational and professional futures. Our very own Melinda Giampietro will be addressing these issues in a presentation at the Kay Meek Centre in West Vancouver on November 3rd at 7:00. This presentation is designed for students in grades 10 – 12 and their parents; however, it is never too early to start considering the options. Some topics Melinda will be covering include:

  • Post secondary trends and issues
  • Course planning
  • How to navigate the application process
  • How to evaluate a University and know if it is the right fit

The cost of this presentation is $15 with all proceeds going to support the West Vancouver Secondary Parent Advisory Council. Tickets can be purchased online at http://www.kaymeekcentre.com/, by phone at (604) 913-3634 or in person at the box office, 1700 Mathers Ave, West Vancouver. Any questions about this presentation should be directed to the Kay Meek Centre.
