OMG IM SPEAK NOT BAD 4 GRAMMAR LOL. Say what? Little or no teaching of grammar, cell phone texting, social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter, all are being blamed for an increasingly unacceptable number of post-secondary students who can’t write properly.

Want to see McMaster University’s beautiful campus but can’t make it in-person?

The new online tour provides more multimedia, interactivity and information for visitors to tours.mcmaster.ca. The portal allows prospective students to take a “Guided Tour” designed to emulate an in-person walking tour, create a personalized tour (based on categories relevant to prospective students) or explore various campus hotspots.

Spring SAT and ACT Prep

SAT/ACT prep at Options Solutions is geared towards the May and June exam dates. The prep at Options Solutions is focused on two areas: test taking skills and curriculum development. The first area focuses on understanding the exam in order to gain tools and strategies to “beat” it. This arena also focuses on developing test taking strategies and critical thinking skills. The second focus is on learning the content that is assessed on each exam; such as math concepts, grammar rules, and vocabulary.

As we guide you through this process, our goal is for you to submit fantastic essays and short answers to the universities of your dreams—but because we know you’ll have to write once you get there, we also want to do whatever we can to improve your writing skills.
