Ivey’s John F. Wood Summer Leadership Program: London, ON
Are you a high school student with a passion for leadership, business, or innovation? The John F. Wood Summer Leadership Program (SLP) at Ivey Business School offers a dynamic opportunity to explore those interests in a university setting. Running from August 5th to 8th, 2025, this four-day immersive experience is designed for current Grade 9 to 11 students who are ready to challenge themselves and think like the next generation of business leaders.
What is the John F. Wood Summer Leadership Program?
Hosted at Western University’s renowned Ivey Business School, SLP introduces students to the world of business through case-based learning, real-world problem solving, and interactive workshops. Participants will explore timely topics such as entrepreneurship, sustainability, global leadership, and artificial intelligence, while building practical skills in communication, critical thinking, and collaboration.
Experience Life on Campus
During the program, students will stay in Western’s residence halls, take part in team-building activities, and get a taste of university life. It’s an ideal opportunity to experience campus culture while connecting with like-minded peers from across Canada and around the world.
Who Should Apply?
SLP is designed for high school students currently in grades 9 to 11 who are curious about business and eager to take on new challenges. Students with demonstrated involvement in extracurricular activities and an interest in leadership and innovation are encouraged to apply.
Application Details
Applicants will be asked to submit a short statement of interest and details about their extracurricular involvement. The program fee is $350 and covers accommodation, meals, and all program materials. Financial assistance may be available.
