Over the past four years, Alyssa has worked as a writing coach and now, as an educational consultant at Options Solutions. As a writing coach, she has empowered students with the knowledge of how to develop and enhance their writing. She believes that every student can achieve their goals with the right amount of hard work and support along the way.
As an educational consultant, Alyssa prides herself on her ability to relate to clients on both a personal and academic level and to encourage them to experience educational triumphs of their own. While post-secondary planning can feel complicated, Alyssa guides her clients with clarity, open-mindedness, patience, and persistence. Her goal remains to help her clients identify and follow the paths that fit them best.
A graduate of the University of Windsor and UBC, she holds both a B.A in English literature and a B.Ed in high school English as well as a certificate from Landmark College for Academic Strategies and Executive Function Supports for Students with LD, ADHD, and ASD. Alyssa takes what she has learned from her education as well as her real-world experience as a tutor and teacher to provide an enriching, educational, and enjoyable experience to all clients at Options Solutions. When not working, Alyssa can be found hiking, cooking, or reading.
