Gaining admissions into medical school or a veterinary college requires more than a strong academic ability. While it’s true that getting top grades in key preparatory courses, including Biology and Chemistry, will help to demonstrate your readiness for the rigour of undergraduate medical and veterinary studies, your personal achievements, talents, community involvement, extracurricular activities, and interest in health care also reflect your potential success as a clinical practitioner. Factor in your performance on a standardized medical admissions test, such as the MCAT for Canadian schools, or the UKCAT or BMAT for UK programs, and you’re ready for the highly competitive entry process.
It can be a tremendous challenge to convey the different facets of your personality and personal accomplishments to a medical or veterinary admission committee in a singular profile, so include the most relevant information when you put together your application, and take the time to prepare for the interview. - the Northern University Ireland Galway
One student was admitted to three veterinary schools in the UK:

- the University of Bristol
