Team Options is excited to introduce our newest team member, Molly, who joins us as a writing coach for the South Surrey and South Granville offices, and a writing workshop leader. Molly helps students improve their writing as a one-on-one instructor and as a regular writing workshop leader in supplement writing workshops. She specializes in helping students find the right words to describe themselves in university applications and gain confidence in expressing their ideas on paper. As a passionate academic interested in television and American popular culture, Molly is enthusiastic about helping students find a subject they are interested in and write about it well.
Molly holds an M.A. from the University in British Columbia in Film Studies where she also completed her B.A. with Honours in the same subject. She has ample experience as a teaching assistant, tutor, workshop leader, and lecturer at UBC. In addition to tutoring at Options Solutions, Molly also tutors UBC students on campus. In her spare time, she attends dance class, practices yoga, and watches ridiculous amounts of television.
Molly is available for individual appointment bookings at the South Surrey office (15252 32nd Ave, Suite 210) and the South Granville office (3195 Granville St, Suite 109). If your student can’t make it into the office for an appointment, Molly also offers assistance via e-mail and can provide feedback and edits electronically. Appointments for e-mail editing can be scheduled through the front desk and students will receive electronic feedback at the end of the hour.
