Melinda Giampietro, President of Options Solutions, will be leading this interactive and informative session on Saturday, February 22nd from 1:00 – 3:00 PM at our West Vancouver office location (1549 Marine Drive, Suite 303).
Topics will include:
- An overview of the trends in post-secondary education.
- Ministry requirements for graduation.
- Usable admission courses versus non-usable admission courses.
- The requirements for various academic majors (Engineering, Science, Kinesiology, Business, etc.)
- How requirements vary by province.
- How do I keep as many doors open as possible? What if I don’t know what I want to study?
- Should I take AP or honours courses?
- The myths of course planning (Do I need French 12?)
- Setting up a foundation for academic success at university, not just “getting in”.
- What marks should I shoot for to attend the school where I want to go?
- How is course selection different if I am interested in attending school in the US or the UK?
