Year after year, our whole team is amazed by the determination, resilience, and ambitions of our students. The university application process is no small feat, and once again, this year’s graduating class reminded us that there is no single path to success. Whether our students are heading to large research universities, smaller close-knit campuses, specialized programs, or even taking an intentional gap year, each journey is unique and worth celebrating, so from all of us at Options, congratulations!
Finding the Right Fit in Canada
Our students continue to earn offers at some of Canada’s most sought-after universities and programs. This year, they received offers of admission to institutions such as UBC, McGill, U of T, Waterloo, Western, Queen’s, and McMaster in competitive programs ranging from business and engineering to health sciences, nursing, and the arts.
We are especially excited to see students pursuing opportunities in unique programs, including Waterloo Mechatronics, McGill’s Population & Global Health program, TRU’s Respiratory Therapy program, SALA at UBC, and King’s Foundation Year Program.
At the same time, some of this year’s success stories serve as a reminder that finding the right fit is often the most important part of the admissions process. Our students will also be thriving at institutions such as UNBC, VIU, BCIT, St. Francis Xavier University, Mount Allison University, and the University of New Brunswick. These schools all offer exceptional programs, supportive communities, and opportunities for students to discover their passions and build meaningful connections.
Crossing Borders
Our students’ ambitions continue to reach far beyond Canada’s borders.
In the United States, students received offers from an impressive range of schools, including Harvard, Yale, Stanford, Northwestern, Duke, Vanderbilt, Georgetown, the University of Chicago, Carnegie Mellon, NYU, the University of Southern California, and Notre Dame. We also saw strong acceptances across the University of California system, with offers from UCLA, UC Berkley, UC San Diego, UC Santa Barbara, UC Davis, UC Irvine, and UC Santa Cruz.
Our students were also accepted at institutions that are excellent examples of finding the right fit, including Union College, Bates, Babson, Bucknell, Lewis & Clark, the University of Denver, the University of Oregon, Southern Methodist University, the University of Utah, Montana State University, and the University of Hawai’i.
Across the Atlantic, our students also received offers from some of the UK’s most prestigious universities, including Oxford, University College London, King’s College London, Imperial College London, the London School of Economics and Political Science, Durham University, Warwick University, St Andrews University, Edinburgh University, and SOAS.
Students also earned offers to international programs such as the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, Bocconi in Italy, and IE in Spain, once again highlighting the global ambitions and remarkable accomplishments of our students.
