About
Lindsey Palmer (she/her) holds an MA in English from the University of Toronto and a BA in English Literature and Political Science from the University of British Columbia, during which her research interests included Critical Refugee Studies and the Environmental Humanities. Having worked in academic, financial, and career advising roles at Canadian post-secondary institutions, Lindsey has seen first-hand the transformative potential of a post-secondary education. At Options, she supports students to best begin this journey by crafting strong applications that reflect who they are as learners from diverse backgrounds and communities. Lindsey strives to help students write in their own authentic voice while representing their strengths and personal growth, knowing that the writing skills they gain will carry forward to their post-secondary experiences.
Lindsey’s free time is mostly occupied by books, movies, and the pursuit of good thrift finds. She is passionate about climate justice, and most days, you can find her listening to audiobooks while tending to her many houseplants.
