Consultants Sara Lopez and Amanda Halliday are now accepting new clients starting in September! If your student is seeking assistance with his or her academic planning and career exploration, Sara and Amanda are ready to help. Sara will be available at the South Granville and the South Surrey offices, and Amanda will be available at the West Vancouver office to ensure new and existing clients receive the support they seek.
A student recruitment manager at Concordia for the past eight years, Sara is adept at assisting students from all backgrounds, including unique learning backgrounds. She has run university planning and application workshops, has given presentations on the value of experiential learning, and personally has helped countless undergraduate and graduate students achieve their educational goals. Sara holds a Diploma of Collegial Studies in Commerce from Marianopolis College, a B.A. in Urban Planning from Concordia University, and a Leadership Training certification from YMCA Canada.

A communications expert, Amanda has excelled in careers in management, sales and marketing including a position as Director of Marketing. Most recently, she worked for Creative Wonders, a boutique marketing and communications firm on the North Shore where she wore many hats – client service, brainstorming, problem solving, media planning, and writing. She has volunteered extensively through the West Vancouver School District at both the elementary and secondary level, and with the West Vancouver Soccer Club. Amanda graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor of Physical Education and a Teaching Certificate in Secondary English and Physical Education.
