The PSAT is the preliminary standardized test to the SAT that assesses critical reading, mathematical reasoning and writing skills. Options Solutions is offering PSAT prep and mock exam sessions to Grade 10 and 11 students who intend to take the fall 2013 PSAT. The official test dates are Wednesday, October 16th and Saturday, October 19th.
The PSAT prep exam session will include a full PSAT mock exam that covers all of the sections of the test: two critical reading sections, two math problem-solving sections and one writing section. Participants will also receive a separate group debrief session on their test results. The two practice exam dates are as follows:
Mock exam #1: Sunday, September 29th, 1:00 – 4:00 PM
Group debrief: Friday, October 4th, 5:00 – 8:00 PM
Mock exam #2: Sunday, October 6th, 1:00 – 4:00 PM
Group debrief: Thursday, October 10th, 5:00 – 8:00 PM
All sessions are located at our NEW West Vancouver office (1549 Marine Dr, Suite 303).
You can register for the official PSAT Exam at your high school or at another secondary school in your area as online registration for the PSAT is not available. Each high school will choose to administer one of the two October test dates. Please contact your high school counsellor or principal about signing up and taking the test at your school.
