The past years have introduced widespread changes in the US college admission process. These include test-optional policies, staggering application numbers, and shifts in application demographics. Simply put, it is not business as usual.
Melinda Giampietro will lead an informative presentation for parents/guardians and students that explores these shifts in admissions as well as recent trends. She will offer concrete steps and strategies for students to construct effective application lists and ways to navigate and stand out in this new environment. The presentation will also cover the application timeline from June 2026 to spring 2027. We will explore how Options can best support our families and what students can do this summer to have smooth sailing in the fall.
