This month we’re featuring events happening all over North America at different post-secondary institutions, so our students can try something new, learn more about their future schools, and add to their growing extra-curricular profiles. January 9

SFU Applicant Workshop for BC Students – Virtual- 5 pm PST

“Join this virtual workshop specifically designed to help BC high school students complete their applications for Fall 2025 admission. We’ll cover admission requirements, how to self-report your grades, important dates, and address topics and frequently asked questions from BC applicants.”

UBC Bachelor of Indigenous Land Stewardship Information Session – Virtual 4 pm PST

“Are you interested in honouring and valuing the knowledge and experiences of Indigenous Peoples? Would you like to learn about Indigenous-led land healing and action-oriented reconciliation? Join us for an online information session where we’ll introduce you to the Bachelor of Indigenous Land Stewardship (BILS). Hear from the director of the Centre of Indigenous Land Stewardship and get a chance to ask your questions.

The Bachelor of Indigenous Land Stewardship program trains future land stewards by combining Indigenous knowledge, governance, and sustainability through culturally appropriate, interdisciplinary education led by Indigenous scholars and allies.”

“Are you a future TRU student, or a parent or guardian of a future student, who might face barriers to post-secondary education? Join the Future Students and Accessibility Services teams to discuss inclusive education at TRU and the supports available to students with exceptionalities. Learn about academic accommodation opportunities and processes, as well as supports such as the Wellness Centre, Math and Writing Help Centres, and Advising. McMaster Navigating the Faculty of Engineering Supplementary Application – Virtual 7 pm EST
