Canuck Place Children’s Hospice: Vancouver and Abbotsford, BC
Canuck Place is a caring, innovative children’s hospice and community-based service that fully embraces the life of each child and family. They provide leadership in improving pediatric palliative care regionally, nationally, and internationally through collaboration, education, and research.
Canuck Place is actively recruiting volunteers at both Vancouver and Abbotsford hospices! As a Canuck Place volunteer, students can help families create lasting memories. Volunteers are the backbone of the Canuck Place organization. Without this dedicated group, they couldn’t provide the exceptional care and comfort families count on.
As a Canuck Place volunteer, students can provide support in a range of ways. From baking cookies to helping a child with a craft project, they can ensure patients’ lives are lived to the fullest. Volunteers can apply for either a regular, in-house role (minimum two shifts a month and a year-long commitment) or a special events role.

Volunteer requirements regardless of role:
- Must be at minimum 16 years old to apply to any volunteer role
- 2 doses of COVID-19 Vaccination
- Criminal Record Check
Volunteer positions:
