Vancouver Public Library – Reading Buddies: Vancouver

The Reading Buddies programs at the Vancouver Public Library partners high school students aged 13-18 with kids in grades 2-4. Teen reading buddies are mentors for their younger buddies, helping them improve their reading skills and develop a love of books and learning. The Reading Buddies program is being offered in person throughout the fall at four Vancouver Public Library branches: Collingwood, Hastings, South Hill, and West Point Grey. For more information or to register as a volunteer, check out the Reading Buddies website here.

Vancouver Public Library – Teen Advisory Group: Vancouver

The Teen Advisory Group (TAG) at the Vancouver Public Library brings together teens from Vancouver to develop and lead library programming for teens, advise the library about services offered, and curate the library’s collections. The Teen Advisory Groups meet over zoom and in person at the Renfrew branch throughout the school year and is open to anyone living in Vancouver between the ages of 13-18. For more information or to register as a volunteer, check out the TAG website here.
