Since many students have been without formal in-class instruction since March, the need to review difficult concepts before school starts back in the fall is more pressing than ever. Here are a few reasons why you should enroll in our math and science bootcamps…
Because of COVID-19, most schools had to modify their academic terms, meaning that topics were often taught in a shorter time period than usual. Because of this, some topics were not covered in detail while others were skipped entirely. Summer math sessions are an opportunity to really master the key concepts students may have missed.
As such, most schools are likely to follow an alternative schedule during the next academic year. This could mean that once again subjects will be taught at a much faster pace. The summer sessions will introduce students to key concepts, enabling them to perform better during the upcoming academic year.
Because of the altered school schedules, some students will have much longer gaps between their math classes. For example, some students who completed Math 10 in May, 2021 might not have any math class until January 2022. Such significant gaps could mean students’ math skills may become weaker without practice. The summer sessions will enable students to keep up their math skills and reduce these extended gaps.
Students who are still deciding whether or not to take a course during the next academic year could use the summer sessions to aid their decision-making. For instance, a student debating whether to take Pre-Calculus 11 or Foundations 11 could enroll in the summer session and determine if Pre-Calculus 11 is suitable for them.
