Updates from the University of Victoria

It’s spring at the University of Victoria, and our consultant, Michelle, was invited to visit the campus and hear updates from the school for the 2018-2019 school year. Here are some things for parents and students to note:

Kinesiology Program Update

For fall 2019, high school students can now apply for direct entry to the Kinesiology program for first-year admittance. Previously, students applied to the Kinesiology program at UVic for entry during their second year of studies.

Co-op Program Options

About 4000 of the students enrolled at UVic participate in co-op each year, both in Canada and abroad.

Four questions that help students identify if co-op is a good fit:

  • What do you love?
  • What are you great at?
  • What does the world need and what can you be paid for?
  • What will allow you to try new jobs and determine where your strengths are?
