Here is what’s happening at Options Solutions this week:
Saturday, April 2nd (West Vancouver)
Register for English Essentials, a series of workshops designed to demystify the writing process, clarify the fundamental concepts of effective writing, and tackle the most prevalent writing issues. Each of the five interactive sessions – which run from February to June – will be devoted to a particular topic. We started the series in February with Punctuation 101, and followed up in March with a session on Tricky Language. This month, we’re focusing on mastering Essay Basics. This session will teach students how to critically read an essay prompt, brainstorm effectively, and create an outline that works, i.e. makes the writing process easier and simpler.
Saturday, April 2nd & Sunday, April 3rd (West Vancouver)
The April ACT exam is only 2 weeks away. Consistent prep is the key to mastering the ACT exam’s content and improving your score. We’re continuing our prep program with an ACT Super Weekend session. The Saturday morning session, from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM, will focus on Math, and the afternoon session, from 1:00 – 4:00 PM, will focus on Science. The Sunday morning session, from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM, will focus on Writing/Essay, and the afternoon session from 1:00 – 4:00 PM will focus on English/Grammar.
