Here is what’s happening at Options Solutions this week:
Saturday, June 4th (South Granville)
Provincial exams are less than a month away! Familiarize yourself with the exam format and content at our English 12 and English 10 mock exam sessions from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM and 1:30 PM – 4:30 PM respectively. Mock exams will be debriefed the following weekend.
Saturday, June 4th (West Vancouver)
Register for English Essentials, a series of workshops designed to demystify the writing process, clarify the fundamental concepts of effective writing, and tackle the most prevalent writing issues. Each of the five interactive sessions – which run from February to June – will be devoted to a particular topic. We started the series in February with Punctuation 101, and followed up in March with a session on Tricky Language, then moved on to Essay Basics in April, and Academic Practice in May. This month, for the final session of the series, we’re helping You Be the Editor. In this session, students will learn how to vary sentence structure, choose fitting words, differentiate between the active and passive voice, and write with clarity and concision for maximum impact. The session will run from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM.
Sunday, June 5th (West Vancouver)

Saturday, June 4th & Sunday, June 5th (West Vancouver)
It’s the final weekend before the official June ACT exam. Get a concentrated weekend of prep in at our ACT Super Weekend session. The Saturday morning session, from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM, will focus on Math, and the afternoon session, from 1:00 – 4:00 PM, will focus on Science. The Sunday morning session, from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM, will focus on Writing/Essay, and the afternoon session from 1:00 – 4:00 PM will focus on English/Grammar.
