MyFLY – Financial Literacy Curricula
MyFLY is a team of high school students in 17 locations across 8 countries in Europe and North and Central America. Their mission has always been, and continues to be, to bring financial literacy to youth who need it most, including those in developing countries. They prioritize making the concepts interesting, intuitive, and easy to remember so they can reach a wide audience. They offer courses such as Financial Literacy, Personal Finance, and NFTs to provide a comprehensive overview of finance and its relevance to individuals and society.
Financial Literacy Course
This course is designed to enable students to gain information that will allow them to have a financially free future.
Chapter 1: Financial Foundations
Learn the basics of managing money, from budgeting and saving to banking, credit, and avoiding debt.

Chapter 2: Introduction to Investing
Explore the main types of investments, including bonds, stocks, funds, and real estate, and learn how to start investing wisely.

Chapter 3: Applications of Investing
Learn how to analyze companies, read financial statements, and estimate a stock’s true value to make informed investment decisions.

Personal Finance Course
This course gives students the practical money skills they need for everyday life and major decisions ahead. It starts with the basics of managing finances, including budgeting, separating needs from wants, smart shopping, and reducing debt. Students then learn about net worth, simple and compound interest, financial institutions, and checking accounts, before moving on to using credit and credit cards responsibly. The course finishes with real-life financial decisions, such as buying a car, negotiating, financing a home, and choosing a college, so students are prepared to make confident and informed choices about their financial future.
