QLEAD: Kingston, ON
Since its launch in 2001, the Queen’s Leadership, Entrepreneurship, and Development (QLEAD) Conference has built a strong reputation within the Smith School of Business at Queen’s University and with high schools across Canada. Each year, hundreds of motivated students apply to QLEAD to explore business, strengthen their leadership skills, and gain a glimpse of university life.
What Is QLEAD?
QLEAD is a four-day conference held every November at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario. The program brings together senior high school students from across Canada for an immersive experience in leadership and business. Delegates participate in workshops, networking opportunities, and case challenges designed to push them out of their comfort zones and build real-world skills.

Why Attend?
QLEAD is known for cultivating a collaborative and supportive environment where students can learn from one another’s diverse perspectives. Delegates work through engaging business challenges, practice problem-solving, and discover their own leadership potential in a hands-on way. Beyond the conference itself, QLEAD offers a lasting network. With a vibrant alumni community, students can stay connected to peers, mentors, and leaders they meet during the event.
