We’re hosting our brand new Business Boot Camp next week. Students in grades 11 and 12 are invited to join us to prep for business school and learn more about the ever-changing business landscape. Here are just five reasons to join us next week!
Get creative with brand-building exercises
During our Business Boot Camp, students learn about how different businesses create their unique brands and then have the chance to participate in a brand-building exercise, picking a product, developing a mission statement, creating their own logo, and more.
Design your own website
Over this multi-day course, students will also learn about e-commerce — its history, the different types of e-commerce, and its benefits — before designing their own e-commerce website. This will allow students to become more familiar with the different website builders and put their learning about e-commerce into practice.
Learn how to apply digital marketing strategies
Next, students will learn about the world of digital marketing. In a world where digital marketing is expected by consumers, students will gain valuable insights into search engine optimization, email marketing, social media marketing, influencer marketing, and more.
Compete with your classmates in the ‘Business Bee’
In a Kahoot quiz students can test their knowledge of all the concepts learned, and the student with the most points at the end will win a prize.
Prep for business school and get a reference for applications!
All students who complete the boot camp will be provided with a certificate of completion and can use the course for reference purposes when applying to university.
