IIMG_0301s your school community interested in learning more about the post-secondary admissions process and how students and parents can prepare for the application process? Each school year, we partner with PAC’s and school administrators to host informative and interactive presentations in Lower Mainland area schools. We work with students and their families to support a broad range of educational decisions and would appreciate the opportunity to learn how we can best support your school community.

We recently hosted the following speaking events:

Elgin Park PAC Event on April 14th – Trends in Canadian Admissions

Point Grey PAC Event on April 19th – Broad Based Admission & Summer Planning

Our goal is to provide parents and students with the information they need to navigate the post-secondary process with grace and good humour, and we always welcome opportunities to work with fellow educators and parents to bring admissions information to families. We recently hosted a Counsellor Open House at our West Vancouver office and enjoyed meeting many of the Lower Mainland area school counsellors and educators.

Now it’s our parents’ turn! We are hosting a “What to Expect as a Grade 12 Parent” event on Wednesday, May 18th from 6:30 – 9:00 PM at Hollyburn Country Club in West Vancouver. This free, informational event is for parents of our current grade 11 students and will outline what parents can expect for their students in grade 12 and how they can help them prepare for the post-secondary application process. Options Solutions’ President, Melinda Giampietro, will lead the session, which will include a panel of grade 12 students who completed the post-secondary application and acceptance process. Pre-registration for the event is required, and RSVP’s can be made to surrey@options-wp.chhdev.com.

We help you navigate the complex post-secondary selection process in Canada, the United States, the UK and abroad.

We construct progressive action plans for the future, based on each student’s individual strengths, values, and interests.
