1. Continue submitting applications
If you haven’t finished all your applications yet, November is the time to keep going. Many major Canadian universities have deadlines approaching in December and January, and some scholarships or special programs close even sooner. Stay on top of your timeline, and remember: our consultants can help you review your applications before you hit “submit.”
2. Continue with supplemental application components
Essays, portfolios, and video interviews can take longer than expected, so keep working steadily through these requirements. Breaking the process into smaller steps, brainstorming, drafting, and editing, can help you stay organized and reduce stress.

After you submit your application, you’ll receive login information for each university’s applicant portal. These portals are essential; they’re where you’ll track your application status, upload documents, and see next steps. Be sure to create your accounts promptly, store your login information safely, and check for updates regularly.
4. Connect with a writing coach to review your application essays
Strong writing makes a big difference in competitive admissions. Before submitting your final essays, consider having a school counsellor or writing coach review them for clarity, structure, and tone. 5. Attend university information sessions
