This interactive workshop is for students in grade 9 and 10 who want to improve their creative and descriptive writing abilities. Over the course of two days, this workshop aims to help students build confidence in their writing and develop their authentic voice.

Students will read a selection of prose and poetry, practice various brainstorming techniques, learn how to create an outline, and write a personal narrative essay in response to a reflective prompt. There is no overlap between this course and the more ‘technical’ English programs we offer.
