The application process can be complicated and confusing. These sessions are designed for students who want assistance completing their Canadian university and college applications in a constructive and supportive environment. Educational consultants Melinda Giampietro, Edwin Liew, Amanda Halliday, and Monika Gay will lead students through completing the application process step-by-step and answer any questions that arise along the way. Students should bring a finalized list of universities/colleges and programs to the workshop.
Workshops are scheduled weekly from mid-October to January at one of our three office locations. Space is very limited, so register early.
Does your student need to complete a personal profile or writing supplement to submit with an application?
Our supplement Writing Workshops aim to help students complete the supplemental writing portions of their university and scholarship applications, including essays, personal statements, activities summaries and resumes. We recognize that writing is a process, so we follow your lead. Some students come in empty handed and leave directed and motivated to begin. Others come several drafts in and are looking for help refining their work. Our consultants and writing coaches help brainstorm appropriate topics, help plan an outline for an essay, and help draft documents to get the ball rolling. We also assist with editing to ensure students stay on topic and answer their essay prompts concisely and effectively, focusing on content, style and accuracy. We specialize in turning drafts into polished pieces.
