Our consultant Edwin had the opportunity to join a select number of counsellors from across North America on an “Explore England” tour that will cover visits to Northumbria, Lancaster, The University of Manchester, Keele, and the University of Birmingham. We’ll post updates and photos from his trip so follow along to see where he’s headed!
First stop: Northumbria University Newcastle
Northumbria University Newcastle, voted the Best University for City Life in the WhatUni Student Choice Awards in 2014, is a city campus surrounded by historical castles, including Castle Keep and Castle Garth, and World Heritage Sites. Northumbria University Newcastle, which has a sister campus in London, has a student population of 32,000 and offers degree course study from the Foundation to PhD level across 32 academic disciplines, and provides study abroad and placement opportunities. Some of their notable fields of study include:business, law, health and life sciences (physiotherapy, nursing and midwifery), applied sciences and engineering, architecture, and arts and design (fashion, interior design, industrial design and design for industries).
