Here is what’s happening at Options Solutions this week:
Thursday, March 30th (South Granville)
Core test skills classes at Options Solutions allow students to prepare for the ACT and/or SAT exam(s) while also building essential academic skills. Students develop their abilities as active readers, learn fundamental grammar, and increase their understanding of essay structure. On-going classes prepare students for the ACT and/or SAT by teaching test structure and test-taking strategy. At the same time, students learn skills that translate into success at school in reading and writing.
Saturday, April 1st (South Granville)
The English 12 Provincial Exam is only a few months away and starting prep early is the key to mastering the exam. The exam is worth 40% of a student’s final English 12 mark, a mark which all universities use to calculate a student’s final admission average. Start reviewing literary terms, answering sample questions and tackling essay questions at an English 12 Super Study session.
Saturday, April 1st & Sunday, April 2nd (West Vancouver)
The official ACT April exam is only two weekends away, and students who are preparing to write that exam should focus on ensuring they’ve mastered the exam format and content. The ACT Super Weekend will cover skills and content, including writing, reading, math, and science to help students feel ready for exam day.
