Monday, October 3rd (West Vancouver)
Melinda and Amanda will be speaking with parents and students at Handsworth Secondary about the Canadian admissions process and how families can best prepare themselves.
Saturday, October 8th (West Vancouver)
Writing is a process, and one that takes time! The One-Day Canadian Admissions Writing Workshop introduces students to writing components for Canadian applications. The session will include a presentation that outlines the typical essay and supplemental writing prompts required by major Canadian universities and programs (e.g. UBC, Queen’s, Western). During this presentation, session leaders will also provide writing and time management strategies and sample essays from previous years’ successful applications. Students will then be given time to brainstorm and begin writing their application essays.
