Here is what’s happening at Options Solutions this week:
Monday, August 29th – Friday, September 2nd (West Vancouver)
The first official ACT exam of the 2016-2017 school year is only a few weeks away. Starting prep early and maintaining a consistent prep schedule will ensure students are prepared for the upcoming official ACT exam dates, which are offered beginning in September. The week-long ACT Boot Camp from Monday, August 29th to Friday, September 2nd will cover all components of the exam, and will help students to determine where to focus their prep time moving forward.

Summer is the best time for students to get a jump start on their curriculum for the coming school year. Students taking Math 12 can get an overview of the year ahead at our Pre-Calculus 12 – Essentials Boot Camp, which will review and explain all the necessary learning outcomes and content areas prescribed by the Ministry.

Effective writing matters! But we understand that writing is a process, and often a scary one for teenagers. We believe effective writing is possible through coaching, modeling, and lots of practice. Our week-long High School Essay Writing Boot Camp will engage students through a variety of exercises, and students will leave the session with a solid foundation to begin the school year.
Wednesday, August 31st – Thursday, September 1st (South Granville)
The Canadian admissions process can be confusing and overwhelming and many students aren’t sure where to begin. Our Canadian Admissions Boot Camp will give students a through introduction to the application process and students will leave the session with a solid foundation and plan for the application cycle.
