Here is what’s happening at Options Solutions this week:
Monday, August 8th – Tuesday, August 9th (South Granville)
Academic writing often strikes students as inaccessible and confusing. Our Intro to University Level Writing Workshop is designed to introduce new graduated high school students to the the theory and practice of academic writing. Students will cover active reading, critical thinking and note-taking, basic research and outlining, and citations, and will do some hands-on writing to practice crafting an argument and incorporating other voices into their work.
Wednesday, August 1oth – Thursday, August 11th (West Vancouver)
The US application process is involved and complex, and students who start the application process during the summer will start their grade 12 year with a solid foundation. Our US Admissions Workshop will help students understand and tackle the US admissions process and relieve the pressure students feel about the application process.
