Course Registration for First-Year Students

on

Now that you’ve chosen your school and accepted your university offer of admissions, the next step in the process is making sure you have everything in order for the fall. One of the most important tasks – selecting your first-year courses – can be overwhelming and confusing. Required courses vary from program to program, and course availability can change from term to term.

We can help you tackle the process! Our consultants can guide you through the following:

  • Registering as a newly-admitted student, whether you’re entering your first year of university or transferring into year two, three or four at a new university.
  • Degree program planning for course requirements in the faculties of Arts, Fine Arts, Social Sciences, Humanities, Sciences, Arts & Sciences, Engineering and Business, as well as everything in between.
  • Identifying your core courses for a major, area of concentration, or specialization.
  • Making a decision about which electives to take.
  • Building your timetable.
  • Creating a checklist for important dates and deadlines.

Many universities have already opened course registration to their incoming students, so it’s never too early to start planning your academic course load for the coming school year. Please contact the office at (604) 922-8456 or info@options-wp.chhdev.com to book your appointment.
