This month we’re featuring events happening all over North America at different post-secondary institutions, so our students can try something new, learn more about their future schools, and add to their growing extra-curricular profiles. March 9

SFU Campus Tour↗ – Virtual – 10 am PST

“Come see yourself at SFU! Each student-led tour explores academic buildings, residence, the library, sports and recreation facilities, classrooms, gardens, and more. We look forward to hosting you at our Burnaby campus!”

March 13

UCLA Virtual Admission Information Session↗ – Virtual – 4 pm PDT

“Virtual Freshman Admission Presentations are designed to help prospective students learn about academic opportunities, campus life, and the admission review process. The thirty-minute sessions are hosted by UCLA Undergraduate Admission representatives.”

UBC Changing the World: Engineering the Future↗ – Virtual – 5 pm PDT

“High school girls* and gender non-conforming folks in grades 10-12 are invited to explore why engineering is an amazing career for women* who want to change the world, help improve the lives of others and the environment around us, and who like teamwork and problem-solving. Learn about different types of engineering, chat with current students, hear from our guest speakers and learn more about engineering at both the UBC Vancouver and UBC Okanagan campuses.

*We have an inclusive view of the word “women” and “girl” and we welcome trans, genderqueer, non-binary, two-spirit, gender questioning folks interested in the day.”

This event is for students studying at a college/university who are interested in applying to SFU for Fall 2024 admission. The application period for Fall 2024 admission is March 1, 2024 – April 15, 2024.

Discover UVic – Virtual – 5 pm PDT

“If you’re considering undergraduate studies at UVic, join us for an online Discover UVic event and learn what it means to be a UVic student. Each live hour-long presentation is led by a UVic recruitment officer, so you’ll have an opportunity to get answers to your questions.”

“Wondering what it’s like to study at the University of Toronto? Chat with our students online and learn more about the undergraduate student experience. Hosted by current students from different campuses, faculties, and programs, these webchats are a great opportunity to ask anything that’s on your mind — about campus life, academic and extracurricular options, community at U of T, and much more.”

Princeton University Admission Information Session↗ – Virtual – 7 pm EST

“Join us for a Virtual Information Session about Princeton University. Your session will consist of a 30-minute presentation about Princeton University with an Admission Officer followed by 15-minutes of Q&A. The Admission Officer will present general information about the University, along with information about Admission and Financial Aid. For information about student life, we recommend following us on social media, reading our blogs, and signing up for a Tiger Talk.”
