Worried about excelling in online classes? Thriving in an Online Environment is a two-hour workshop that presents the best practices for online study. Recognizing both the practical and psychological challenges of virtual learning, this course offers valuable tips about setting up a work space, managing your schedule, making the most of available resources, organizing your materials, and managing stress, so you’ll be able to approach your online learning feeling motivated and prepared. There are two available workshops: April 4th (10 am to 12 pm) and April 8th (6 pm to 8 pm).
Attend our popular three-day writing boot camp, Essay Essentials, and learn how to read carefully, plan a logical and clear argumentative essay, write using academic conventions, and employ targeted editing techniques to produce your best work. This course is for students in grades 9 to 12 and takes place virtually from April 6th to April 8th (5 pm to 8 pm).
Taking the ACT or SAT exams in the future? This is a great time to deepen your understanding of fundamental concepts in grammar and math, master active reading skills, and improve your test-taking strategies. Join us for our ACT/SAT Weekly Prep Sessions, which take place Wednesday evenings (6 pm to 8 pm) in our online classroom, where students gain knowledge and skills that translate into long-term success.
Preparing for the Graduation Literacy Assessment? Worried about falling behind in English? Our three-part GLA Prep program is designed to provide current and future grade 10 students with an in-depth understanding of the exam while honing their higher-level reading and writing skills. These virtual sessions, covering active reading, textual analysis, outlining, and essay writing, will take place April 4th (9 am to 11. am), April 6th (6 pm to 8 pm), and April 7th (6 pm to 8 pm).
