Due to the demand for preparation sessions for the June provincial exams, Options Solutions was able to offer mock exam and debrief sessions and three-hour study sessions for the English 12, Social Studies 11, English 10, Math 10 and Science 10 provincial exams at all three of our office locations. We encourage feedback from our students and parents about their experiences at the sessions, the content of the sessions and the instructors’ knowledge and teaching approaches.
Here is what some of our students had to say about the sessions:
“Marisa was engaging, to the point, knew her material, and made us feel like we can do this! It was the perfect session for me.” – J.B.
“I feel more confident about exam day after attending the session. Marisa went over everything that was going to be covered on the exam so that there will be no surprises on exam day.” – G.F.
“I loved the session – all of the information was organized for us which made it easy to study and review. Mark is a fun instructor and I wish the class could have been longer!” – C.M.
“I really enjoyed the session – the instructor was so encouraging!” – C.I.
“We learned several tips and tricks to help us tackle the exam, and we received additional material to help us study at home.” – S.T.
“The class was thorough and well-structured.” – A.F.
Here is what one of our parents had to say about the sessions:
“My son attended the session today and I have to say that I expected him to come out exhausted and complaining of how long the session was. He is not the most motivated student but a smart kid as so many are. I was pleasantly surprised when he came out and he said he thought the session was really valuable. He said the first 2.5 hours went by without him even noticing. He was clearly very impressed by your teaching approach, Del!” – D.I.
Thank you to all the students who attended the sessions and took the time to give us their feedback. We hope all our students went into their exams feeling prepared and we look forward to offering even more prep options to students for the 2016 provincial exams.
