If you’re the parent of a student who is heading to post-secondary for the first time this fall, you may be wondering how you can help set them up for success. Amid the stress of helping your student finish their last year of high school, comes the stress of getting ready for post-secondary, but it doesn’t have to be such a stressful time! Whether your student will be living at home or away next year, it’s important to start thinking about how you can all adjust to this big change.
Join us for an interactive discussion about what to expect as the parent of a new first-year post-secondary student on June 5th, 2024 at 6:30 pm. This year, we’ve brought back our popular (and free!) parent event, Launching Your Post-Secondary Student: A Discussion for Parents.
This event will cover what to expect as a parent and how to prepare to launch your post-secondary student. We will also discuss how to set yourself and your student up for success during the first six weeks. In addition, we will cover strategies for communication and how to help your student deal with unfamiliar situations.
This popular event will occur through GoToWebinar. Admission is free; however, pre-registration is required.
