Looking for a way to get involved with your future university or college? Wondering what’s next now that you’ve been accepted? This month we’re featuring events happening all over North America at different post-secondary institutions, so our students can try something new, learn more about their future schools, and add to their growing extra-curricular profiles. Check out the post-secondary events happening this month below!

September 7

Caltech Techer Talk – Virtual – 7:30 pm PDT

“A one-hour online session led by Admission Ambassadors, who are current student representatives of Caltech Undergraduate Admissions. The session consists of a 10-minute presentation on student-life followed by a Q & A session with current students.”

September 8

Harvard Information Session – Virtual – 2 pm EDT

“In these hour-long sessions, an admission officer and an undergraduate student will present information and answer questions about academics, student life, admissions and financial aid at Harvard College.”

September 9

SFU Burnaby Campus Tour – In-person – 10 am PDT

“Come see yourself at SFU! Each student-led tour explores academic buildings, residence, the library, sports and recreation facilities, classrooms, gardens, and more. We look forward to hosting you at our Burnaby campus!”

UBC Vancouver Campus Tour – In-person – 11 am PDT

“Join us on our Vancouver campus for a guided walking tour with a UBC Student Ambassador. After the tour, an advisor will be available to answer your questions about our undergraduate programs, admissions, scholarship opportunities, and more.”

September 19

NYU Info Session – Virtual – 4 pm EDT

“Have an hour? Use it to explore your future at New York University from the comfort of your own home. One of our Admissions Counselors will walk you through the admissions process, your academic options (spoiler: There are a ton), and the NYU student experience. Plus, hit our student ambassadors with your questions in a live Q&A.”

September 20

Yale University Information Session – Virtual – 4 pm EDT

“The Yale Office of Undergraduate Admissions invites you to participate in a virtual student forum: an informal, non-evaluative Q&A session with current Yale students. Only prospective applicants and current students may participate. No admissions officers or parents will be present. “

Discover UVic – Virtual – 5 pm PDT

“If you’re considering undergraduate studies at UVic, join us for an online Discover UVic event and learn what it means to be a UVic student. Each live hour-long presentation is led by a UVic recruitment officer, so you’ll have an opportunity to get answers to your questions.”

September 21

Princeton University Admission Information Session – Virtual – 7 pm EDT

“Join us for a Virtual Information Session about Princeton University. Your session will consist of a 30-minute presentation about Princeton University with an Admission Officer followed by 15-minutes of Q&A. The Admission Officer will present general information about the University, along with information about Admission and Financial Aid. For information about student life, we recommend following us on social media, reading our blogs, and signing up for a Tiger Talk.”

University of Washington Common Application Webinar – How to fill out the UW Application – Virtual – 4 pm PDT

“Join UW Admissions as we walk through how to complete the Common Application. We’ll cover the basics and then open it up to your questions.”

McGill Downtown Campus Tour – In-Person – 11 am EDT

“Nestled into the side of Mount Royal, in the heart of the city, McGill’s downtown campus offers an exceptional space for outdoor and city lovers alike. With its rich heritage, abundance of green spaces and lively urban vibe, it’s a campus you’ll want to discover! Our tour is one hour and is designed for prospective undergraduate students. This is an outdoor tour where our student guides will show you around the central part of campus, give you the inside scoop on student life, academics, life in Montreal, library resources, clubs on campus and much more.”
