This month we’re featuring events happening all over North America at different post-secondary institutions, so our students can try something new, learn more about their future schools, and add to their growing extra-curricular profiles. February 1

SFU Applicant Workshop: For BC High School Students↗ – Virtual – 5 pm PST

“This event is for students studying in a high school in BC, who have applied for Fall 2024 admission.

Join us to learn about each next step you have to take to successfully complete your application, and be considered for admission to SFU!”

UBC Engineering: Design, Create, Innovate – Virtual – 5pm PST

University of Toronto Ask Our Students Anything↗ – Virtual – 7 pm EST

“Wondering what it’s like to study at the University of Toronto? Chat with our students online and learn more about the undergraduate student experience. Hosted by current students from different campuses, faculties, and programs, these webchats are a great opportunity to ask anything that’s on your mind — about campus life, academic and extracurricular options, community at U of T, and much more.”

University of Saskatchewan Scholarships information Session – Virtual – 7 pm CST

“Learn about scholarships, bursaries and award opportunities for new undergraduate students, including Guaranteed Entrance Scholarships, scholarships for international students, and USask’s Competitive Entrance Awards. These numerous awards valued between $500-$32,000 CAD can be accessed by many students with diverse experiences.

A Parent’s Guide to the University of Calgary – Virtual – 7 pm MST

“Are you a parent or family member supporting your future Dino in applying to the University of Calgary? Join the Student Recruitment Team for this interactive presentation on tips and advice for supporting students through UCalgary’s application process and next steps to become a Dino!”

Queen’s Online Applicant Event↗– Virtual – 7 pm EST

“The Undergraduate Admission and Recruitment office, along with a number of programs and campus services, will be hosting a virtual Applicant Event! 

This online event will allow you to:

Accepted to UCalgary? Webinar for Newly Admitted Canadian Students↗ – Virtual – 7 pm MST

“Congratulations on your offer to study at the University of Calgary!

We cannot wait to have you as a UCalgary Dino, and we are incredibly excited to share this next chapter of your life with you. After you have been accepted, you might be wondering: “what now?”. In this session, you will learn all the following steps after receiving your acceptance to the University of Calgary. We will also provide you with some guidance regarding admissions, orientation, course registration, and important upcoming events to consider attending before September. This is also a great chance to answer any questions you might have and connect with students from the same city or province you join us from!”

Princeton University Admission Information Session↗ – Virtual – 7 pm EST

“Join us for a Virtual Information Session about Princeton University. Your session will consist of a 30-minute presentation about Princeton University with an Admission Officer followed by 15-minutes of Q&A. The Admission Officer will present general information about the University, along with information about Admission and Financial Aid. For information about student life, we recommend following us on social media, reading our blogs, and signing up for a Tiger Talk.”
