SUMMARY:Video Interview Workshop
DESCRIPTION:This three-hour session prepares students for the video interview components of university applications. Programs that require the video interview include commerce at UBC\, the University of Toronto\, and York University\, as well as engineering at the University of Toronto\, McMaster and Waterloo\, among others. \nThe session will include a presentation that outlines the video interview requirements for each university\, as well as a practical guide for successfully completing the interviews. During the session\, students will have the opportunity to tackle some sample questions both informally and formally\, will receive feedback from the instructor and other participants\, and record practice responses for analysis. \nWe will Cover: \n\nSpecifics of the interview process for each program\nBody language and appearance\nTechnical set-up\nCoping strategies for nerves\nTips on answering prompts\nStrategies to successfully answer various questions\n\nWhat do students have to say?\n“I liked the chance to practice thinking on my feet. I also really liked how I am now aware of the keys to succeeding in a video interview\, and I know what practice is helpful in order to succeed.”

DESCRIPTION:These intensive sessions focus on helping students master the ACT or SAT exam. Topics will cover every portion of the test\, including test-taking strategies\, time management tips\, and crossover skills for the ACT/SAT exam.
