Application season for grade 12 students is in full swing! Applying to post-secondary institutions can be a complex and confusing process. Our workshops are scheduled weekly from mid-October to January to support students through the application process. For students who will be in town and want to maximize their holiday break, we have dates for each workshop scheduled during the last two weeks of December.
Canadian Application Workshop
Is your grade 12 student ready to apply to Canadian universities, but wants to ensure he or she is submitting applications correctly? Register your student for a Canadian Application Workshop!
The application process can be complicated and confusing. These sessions are designed for students who want assistance completing their Canadian university and college applications in a constructive and supportive environment. Educational consultants Melinda Giampietro, Edwin Liew, Amanda Halliday, and Monika Gay will lead students through completing the application process step-by-step and answer any questions that arise along the way. Students should bring a finalized list of universities/colleges and programs to the workshop.

Supplement Writing Workshop
Does your student need to complete a personal profile or writing supplement to submit with an application?
Our Supplement Writing Workshops aim to help students complete the supplemental writing portions of their university and scholarship applications, including essays, personal statements, activities summaries and resumes. We recognize that writing is a process, so we follow your lead. Some students come in empty handed and leave directed and motivated to begin. Others come several drafts in and are looking for help refining their work. Our consultants and writing coaches help brainstorm appropriate topics, help plan an outline for an essay, and help draft documents to get the ball rolling.

Video Interview Workshop
Is your student applying to a commerce program at UBC, the University of Toronto, and York University, or an engineering program at the University of Toronto and Waterloo? These programs require a video interview as part of the application.
During our Video Interview Workshops, students will learn how to answer typical interview questions and have the opportunity to tackle some sample questions as a group. They will then practice in pairs and give each other feedback, as well as record their responses for analysis.
Workshops are scheduled monthly from September to January at one of our three office locations. Space is very limited, so register early. Holiday date: December 29th – 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM (SG).
