Late fall is the perfect time to attend campus tours, open houses, and virtual events — great ways to explore your future college or university. Check out the post-secondary events below happening this month across Canada. Please note, all times listed are local to where the events occur.
November 5th
University of Waterloo Fall Open House – In-Person – 10 am
“This in-person event will give you a chance to tour campus, residences, and academic areas; chat with students, staff, and professors; and learn about programs and student services. Can’t make it on November 5? We’ll be sharing virtual presentations online before the event! Register and we’ll email you when the virtual presentations are available.”
Wilfred Laurier University Open House – In-Person – 9 am
“Open House is one of the best times to visit Laurier and explore what Laurier has to offer you! Students, staff, and faculty are excited to meet you and help you discover the opportunities that await you. Take a campus tour with a current student as your guide. Tour residence buildings and see real residence rooms. Browse information fairs and speak with students, staff, and faculty about academic support and accessible learning, wellness, dining, co-op and career development, and more. Attend information sessions on programs and outside-of-the-classroom student experiences.”
November 6th
Brock University Fall Preview Day – In-Person – 11 am
“At Fall Preview Day you will be able to: Tour our beautiful campus & visit our exceptional residences (11 a.m.- 4 p.m.); Meet with faculty, staff, and students at our Information Fair (11 a.m.- 4 p.m.); Attend presentations and Experience Brock opportunities.”
Guelph University Fall Preview Day – In-Person – 10 am
“Join us for our fall open house! Tour campus, chat with faculty, staff, and students, and learn more about what the U of G can do for you.”
November 14th
York University Information Session: Canadian High School Students – Virtual – 5 pm
“Learn about York University’s programs, campuses, admissions, scholarships, student life, and much more! The session is ideal for current/recent high school students in Canada.”
November 16th
Huron University College Vancouver Reception- In-Person – 6:30 pm
On Wednesday, November 16th, the Huron team is going to host a reception at the Vancouver Lawn Tennis & Badminton Club. Huron president, Dr. Barry Craig, our Vice-President Student Growth, Lisa Keenan-Jones, and a panel of alumni will be attending to speak and connect with students that are interesting in Huron! If a student has applied and brings their transcript, Huron will be assessing applications and awarding Offers of Admission on the spot.
November 18th-25th
Toronto Metropolitan University Open House – Hybrid – Times Vary
“Explore, Learn and Connect at the Discover Toronto Met: Open House. Looking to make an impact on the lives of others? Connect with TMU’s engaged community who will help you think differently about the future and your ability to shape it, at the Discover Toronto Met: Open House. Join us online for virtual information sessions designed to introduce you to the programs, people, and unique hands-on learning opportunities that will help shape your experience. In-person campus tours will be available Friday, November 18 and Friday, November 25, and led by current students.”
November 19th
McMaster University Fall Preview Open House – In-Person – 10 am

November 20th
University of Western Ontario Western Fall Preview Day – In-Person – 9 am

December 3rd
Dalhousie University Open House – Virtual – 7 am
“Join students from across Canada and around the world at this event.
