Sajia Ebrahimi is a seasoned post-secondary instructor of over 12 years. She specializes in English, Academic Writing and Rhetoric, Business Communications, and Professional Development as well as Curriculum Design and Management in higher education.
Formally trained as a BC high school teacher, Sajia’s teaching philosophy centers around accessible education and fostering a sense of community in the classroom. Her teaching is practical and applicable to the real world and each learner’s goals. For her dedication to teaching, Sajia has earned multiple awards and recognition from faculty and students. Sajia understands firsthand the Canadian high school and graduation experience as well as the experience of studying abroad. She holds a Master’s in English Language and Culture from the University of Amsterdam and considers the Netherlands to be her second home. Sajia also holds two Bachelors’ degrees from Simon Fraser University in English and Education.
Sajia’s first love is writing and storytelling. When out of the office, she can be found walking the beautiful trails that metro Vancouver has to offer, hosting friends, finding the best food in the most unexpected places, and planning her next vacation.
