Lynne Stanger is excited to join the team at Options this year. Lynne brings with her over twenty-five years of experience in education along with her energy, enthusiasm and commitment to guide families on their educational journey.
Lynne earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Simon Fraser University and a Master’s degree in International Education from the University of Toronto. She has worked, studied, lived and travelled in numerous countries and educational environments as a teacher, college instructor, university administrator and independent school leader. The variety of her experiences has developed Lynne’s expertise in advising, project management, communications and admissions.
As Director Global Programs and Admissions at York House School and Director of Enrollment at West Point Grey Academy, Lynne assisted many students and families through their application experience with patience, respect and integrity. She has an appreciation for the importance of finding the right fit, the value of international learning experiences and the impact that scholarship opportunities can have.
Lynne has been an active member of her local and global communities as a YWCA volunteer, KidSafe board member and education awards committee member at Minerva. Currently, she is a director with the Reading Bear Society, a health and literacy mentorship program between UBC medical students and at-risk elementary schools.
Lynne lives on the westside with her husband and two teenage boys. When she isn’t working, Lynne enjoys catching up with friends, travelling, sailing and skiing.
