Gianluca Agostinelli is a formally trained educator with a decade of experience across the K-12 and post-secondary panels. He specializes in curriculum design, differentiated instruction, and assessment and evaluation. He has taught at Brock University, McMaster University, Niagara College, and with the Niagara Catholic District School Board. Gianluca has also taught internationally in China and Italy.

As a high school teacher and university instructor, Gianluca has been intuitively supporting students achieve their post-secondary goals for many years. An active listener, Gianluca offers comprehensive, personalized advice to students who are considering a variety of education and career pathways. He provides rich, constructive feedback on admissions applications and draws from his professional and social networks to deliver accurate, current information. He is knowledgeable of university programming and institutions across Canada.

Beyond the classroom, Gianluca is a writer, editor, speaker, consultant, and emerging scholar. He holds a Master of English Language & Literature and a Master of Education, as well as multiple certifications in ESL and FSL instruction. As a university student, Gianluca secured over $200,000 in scholarships, awards, and fellowships. He has published dozens of creative and professional works, including an academic book. Gianluca is currently completing a Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Studies at Brock University.

A competitive athlete, Gianluca co-captained Brock University’s men’s tennis team. He remains actively involved in sports and volunteers with many non-profit organizations. As a teacher, coach, and mentor, Gianluca cultivates meaningful, transformative experiences for students of all ages and backgrounds. He adopts a sound, holistic approach to advising to ensure that every decision aligns with one’s lifestyle.

Gianluca is an old soul who was born and raised in Niagara Falls, Ontario. When not in the office, he enjoys traveling, hiking, shopping for antiques, and eating as much pizza as he can get his hands on!
