The Options Solutions team is excited to welcome our newest team member: Marisa Grizenko.
With an M.A. in English from the University of British Columbia, and a B.A. with Honours in Liberal Arts and English from Concordia University, Marisa is well-equipped to help students strengthen their writing, improve their critical thinking skills and develop effective study strategies. Originally from Quebec, Marisa is a native French speaker, and she is excited to help students hone their French language skills as well.
Over the past few years, she has been studying Russian, tutoring high school and university students, and working as an editor and proof reader. As an Options Solutions Coach, Marisa will use her expertise to lead Writing and Application Workshops and will be available to students for one-on-one appointments to help with English, French, SAT/ACT/PSAT prep, SSAT prep, writing skills, and study skills. Beginning in September, Marisa will work Mondays and Wednesdays in our West Vancouver office and Tuesdays in our Vancouver office. She will be available from 2:00 – 8:00 PM on these days.
