Options Solutions is offering study skills sessions in preparation for final exams. These sessions will be of particular relevance to those in grades 10 as they get ready to face Provincial exams for the first time, but are beneficial to all secondary students.

Options Solutions is offering Study Skills Tune Up workshops on Saturday, June 5th and 12th from 10:00 to 12:00 in order to help students improve their learning, understanding, and, in the end, their grades. Though students differ greatly in terms of their preferred learning styles and their approach to academic preparation, there are some general techniques that are guaranteed to produce effective results.

The new online tour provides more multimedia, interactivity and information for visitors to tours.mcmaster.ca. The portal allows prospective students to take a “Guided Tour” designed to emulate an in-person walking tour, create a personalized tour (based on categories relevant to prospective students) or explore various campus hotspots.

What’s New at BC Colleges?

Last month, BC Colleges launched a redesigned website that serves as a central hub for information on the province’s 11 community colleges. The site is designed to provide information on the role BC’s colleges play in preparing a highly skilled workforce by providing education and training opportunities that respond to the workforce needs of BC.
